Meidya Ayu
Meidya Ayu is an illustrator and designer based in Surabaya, Indonesia, crafting expressive, story-driven visuals for editorial, cover, and advertising projects. With a love for narrative and emotion, her work blends bold compositions and thoughtful details, making every piece more than just an image—it’s an experience.
Beyond her freelance career, Meidya is deeply involved in creative community building. Since 2022, she has been a Regional Administrator for Gengsee Surabaya, a thriving art collective with 950+ members, where she organizes live drawing events, workshops, and collaborative projects that empower fellow artists. She also contributes to Ilustrasee as an Administrative Assistant, helping manage creative initiatives for illustrators across Indonesia.
Driven by curiosity and collaboration, Meidya is constantly pushing her creative boundaries—whether through illustration, graphic design, or community-driven art. Her dream? To bring her works to the global stage and hold an international exhibition where her art can connect with audiences worldwide.
